Just curious. Knowing this will influence whether I play here or not.

No.
There may be a possability for some more dungeons/zones to be added after velious is complete on P99. That is my understanding and it is 100% NOT a quote from any offical source.
Devs have clearly stated they intend for P99 to go from Classic->Kunark->Velious and then end. They believe (as do I, and others I'm sure) that classic EQ ended with velious and modern EQ began with Luclin. Many people here like to talk big game like eventually luclin or pop is coming but it's not. Don't count on it.
Custom content perhaps that utilizes luclin or pop zones, maybe.
Green99 where they start the game over again from classic to kunark and then velious on the classic timeline has been talked about, so maybe.
....but that's pretty much all you can look forward to from P99.

I hadn't heard this one.

It would be a new server. Blue isn't going anywhere.

Are you kidding? Post-sleeper Velious is the pinnacle of EQ.

Llandris, like another post here, Green server has been mentioned. Are you able to give clarity on whether Green (if it actually happens) is going to just follow classic timelines to Velious, or is it going to Luclin and beyond?

Derailing the topic hold on!
What about Discord and Purple99? :D
Purple99 is the Team based pvp server to my understanding

I'll never understand why they're wasting time on another PvP server, and I played on Rallos Zek server for 5 years. I loved EQ PvP, but it doesn't appeal to most. The Discord server was tried by SOE and it was obvious why they shut it down. Most would try it, die a few times, and go back to their old servers. Teams99 or Purple99 might be worth a try. It would probably kill Red99 (more).

"shut it down" what? it was a promotion for the GoD launch with the winners getting items named after them.

Wasn't the purpose of the classic server projects to go non-classic. I'm pretty sure it's classic before progression with what's important. Like live has progression servers, but classic is pretty much a joke there.

To be totally honest, I wouldnt mind seeing AA points. Would give something to do between raids!

Discord was never meant to be a permanent server.

Thanks much.
just like WoW, EQ died after its wintery expansion.

EQ had an uptick in population and hit its peak at PoP. Not really fair to compare it to WoW where pop continually dropped after LK.
