Read a few pieces online, wondering if anyone knows of any other games to keep an eye our for this year?

I thought Star Citizen, Camelot Unchained, Crowfall, Life is Feudal and Nebula Online looked promising. We'll see how that pans out.

Those are just the MMOs I read a bit about. If you're aware of any others worth watching please post them here.

XCOM 2 comes out in a week, for a more short term candidate. Looks great based on the preview play sessions I've seen.

They really took a lot of ideas from the XCOM "long war" conversion mod and integrated them into the core of the gameplay.

But of course, with SOE's failure-collapse and Daybreak taking over, who knows when EQN will be released as DB games shifts it's attention to making casual games for cellphones. Not that I listed it either, I'm I'm I'm just disguuusted with casual f2p games and don't expect anything play-worthy from EQN :p

Yeah, I have thousands of hours in Arma 2 but I just picked up 3 during the last steam sale and have barely played it so I couldn't speak on it. I would say Arma 3 is probably more advanced in those areas as Siege can be kind of arcadey at times.

Yeah it takes quite a bit of time to get into, even if you get rusty, it's one of the deepest sandboxes I've encountered, and I <3 sandbox games. I didn't play 2, but I've played 1. This was my switch from the Battlefield series after having played that for a lot of years (BF2142 having been my top fav there).
