Considering all Weapons have been put in game as their upgraded versions - Will the Blackstone Maul finally get this same treatment? All of this ToV loot in its upgraded version this early in Velious has definitely been a big game changer. The Blackstone Maul was previously modified per the following thread:
Blackstone Maul Thread (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79617&highlight=Blackstone+Maul)
Since the weapon was upgraded prior to Luclin - can it be upgraded, same as all the other items have been upgraded in Velious? Thanks for your time and all you guys do.
October 2001 or bust. All other weapons and items need to be regressed.

Elaborate.
Elaborate.
There were at least two eras of upgrades during Velious. June 2001 and October 2001. Blackstone Maul's upgrade was part of the 2-hander revamp patch in October 2001.
June 2001 was a huge overhaul of Velious weapons and armor from Kael, Sleepers, and NToV. Most 2-hand weapons still have damage/delay ratios less than 1.0. A lot of the drops (for the effort required) were trash compared to items from random mobs in Seb and KC, much less VP loot. Examples:

October 2001 (http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20011008.html) included a patch that revamps 2-handed weapon damage and also upgraded 2 handed weapons game wide, many to dmg/delay ratios greater than 1.0. This patch also introduced new rogue piercers and monk weapons (Fist of Lightning, Wurmscale Fistwraps, etc.).

Praise all of Ele's classic work.
Re-99 is in good hands. Praise the Timeline. Praise Classic.

Praise the Timeline.
Praise the revamp Ele speaks of from day 1 Velious?
Praise 2 months late on latest patch to maintain timeline. Stop kidding yourself..

Kunark weapons are already set in the Timeline. They will retroactively fix their ratios and stats whenever the October 2001 patch is activated.
Thus, Praise the Timeline.
What you're suggesting, is that because Velious weaponry is already in October 2001 patch-mode, we should accelerate or immediately update these old Kunark weapons to that state. That's not how this server works.
Nilbog gets to be the Arbiter of what goes in and when. He is usually very good about sticking to classic timeline. Regarding Velious, he opted to not dig through the minutae of Velious' Raid loot updates, as Ele highlights, there are about 3-4 big patches that overhauled lots of item stats, and instead set all the timeline for those items after the fact, for the second server they intend on releasing, Re-99. Just letting P99, do it live and deal with the final version of Velious Raid Loot from day 1.
Thus, Re-99 is in good hands.
In Nilbog's mind this issue has already been resolved and the stats will autocorrect themselves when that switch is flipped. Wait 5-6 months and it should happen.

It's nothing I haven't said in numerous other threads in general, rnf, and other relevant bugs. You are free to go back through the other 5K+ posts to check for yourself. That this server, for all intents and purposes, is an ongoing beta server and not to be mad about missed time windows.
If you want to make something of it go for it. :D

Where does it say the Oct2001 patch introduced these as weapons? Maybe I missed it.
I was reviewing this bug report about Wurmscale Fistwraps:
https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=358921
which states
I don't think these should drop prior to October, 2001. I cannot find any mention of these prior to October 10th on Allakhazam, legacy of steel, and Usenet among a couple others. The stats also are in line with what you would expect from those pre-luclin weapons that were released around the time of the melee changes.

Nilbog and Telin are great men.
Thanks for keeping the dream alive.
My time will not be long.
