Would like to play again!

Hey all its been a number of years since I have played project99 and would like to check it out again, I have a few issues.. I do not remember what my account name was.. well I think I know what it probably is (couple options). Where can I try to log in at to see if I do remember.. which brings me to the next question.. I have a folder with an old install of eq from p99 I used years ago.. I imagine I can use that still but what do I use as launcher/patcher to get in and be able to try to login again? I could try to login then with the user/pw I think it might be.

Also the email that is setup on these forums is no longer valid, I tried changing it and it said that it was I was not able to change it, that option is disabled or something.

You can simply update the old P99 files with the current patch zip. If you don't remember your PW and the email is invalid you're screwed. There is no account lockout for trying to login from the account screen in game. Keep trying if you forgot. There is no way to recover a lost PW for a loginserver account made through eqemu AFAIK.

It was made through another site a number of years ago, not directly on this site. Once I can get to the login in eq I am pretty sure I will figure it out. I will look for the patch file you are referring to, there a link for it off the home page?

I am trying all my usernames/pws I am sure it would be but it just does db error invalid password. I am launching with everquest.exe patchme option. The guide says to use titanium folder launcher thinger, I don't even have a titanium folder. This is my install from a few years ago I am trying to use.. this not work anymore? I also downloaded and copies over the patch file from the home page guide.

And finally.. it will not let me change my email address here on the forums, how can I go about doing that.. the email here is old and invalid now.

** I am doing a new clean install and will try again, so at least I know I am connecting to the right place when trying all my user/pws lol :)

Okay, well I can login with my wifes user/pw (figures) but can't remember mine!! My wife never really played.. tried it out a bit and that was it. Its killing me I can't remember my user/pw.. there is absolutely no way it can be looked up? Just my username is probably all I would need.

If you provide the GMs with you char name they might be able to access the account and transfer characters to another account. The likely hood of this is slim though but it doesn't hurt to put in a petition.

I will give this a try.. I can't believe I cannot remember my login info.. /sigh :(
