Server population - an inquiry

Relatively new player here, I've made a couple shitty threads. Sorry about that.

I'm wondering what the population of this server has been like the past few months - stagnant, increasing, decreasing? I plan on staying for the foreseeable future, but is it reasonable to expect the server to grow?

increasing actually, about 900+ on a nite...more on weekends...and will get a lot higher once Kunark hits, as many have taken a break until Kunark

Yeah i think its increasing since i started here. Was about 600 max. when i started now its over 1k max. i think.

It increased earlier, but for the past couple months I think it's plateaued at around 900 on at peak hours. Expect a major spike when Kunark comes out. For now, I think it's more than enough people.

When I first started the server was about 250-300. If there were 350 it was a lot.

But yah...expect 2K plus when Kunark hits, no doubt. Many of us are done with the grind and waiting for it.

god global ooc was awful. remember the whiners who thought removing it would kill the server and would not bring back ec? /poke finawin ;)

I don't get why everyone thinks half the server is secretly boxing. The whole time I've been playing, I've only seen 2 people I thought might have been boxing, and I could have been wrong about them. Out of 900 people, there's probably less than 10 actually boxing.

If the worldserver stats are right (and I've never had a reason to doubt them) max ever online wasn 982. I think that was in September?

Most nights see mid 800s at peak EST time.

i'd imagine closer to 75% dont box, while the other 20% are or do on a normal basis.
