maybe useful if you're fighting a mob that has mez, and you'd like to cast a low-level disease on yourself to prevent it and not resist every time

I'd say anything that lowers magic resist. It's ok at lower levels, like rusty spiked shoulderpads with +5 str, but that -10 on MR starts to hurt outside the newbie area imo.

The worst is when you hammer to meet a druid for a ride somewhere and forget to switch your hammer out. Hammered out of Trak tooth to meet a druid for a ride for a Ragefire fight. Ran all the way to lair and first swing on a mob...."Loading Please Wait" /sigh
