When I saw P99 existed, I was ecstatic. I dusted off my old copy of Titanium and loaded it up.
Amazing, this world still lives. Now I need to get some friends. Currently I have a level 3 ranger, Linholem. if you see me let me know if you need to group in the Faydark. I could use the friends, and make my way to orc hill, where I may cry because of the awesome memories of that place.
Some things I love about coming back, getting absolutely lost as a level two and finding my self running from brownies and centurions in the Lesser Faydark. (damn my wandering) Seeing auctions and send tells littering my auction screen. The sense of confidence in itself this game displays to this day.
So good to be back. now to drop a donation to the server upkeep.

lfay, such a nice zone, so underpopulated... though that can be nice too. A zone often most appreciated by rangers and druids, especially rangers. Even still, when my ranger travels bring me back to kelethin for a respite, ranger camp is often an excellent visit, so many interesting things to track and all (e.g. larktwitter etc.). May your arrows fly true!

Just beware of the brownie scouts in Lesser Faydark -- some races are KOS to them and these little guys pack a mean punch.

Some? I think you mean all! Never trust the brownies, especially the ones trying to sell you cookies.

Oh no, like with wood elves etc (most good races I think), can walk right into the brownie compound, buy spells etc. But when you start making them into birthday cakes :D they get maaad :mad::mad:
But, as a ranger, turning them into birthday cake is fine (and morning dew drops from farmers), you just don't want to make the faeries hostile if you plan to do any serious ranger bow fletching. But not a huge market for that here, mostly only because you want to if you do. You even see larktwitter bows sometimes being sold by the brownie merchants off of other players, over priced for a starter bow of course

No, they only like wolves and elementals starting out.

I was lost in Lesser Faydark over this past weekend too. I saw a shadowed men path right in front of me and I froze..... Also, if you decide to go into Dagnor's Cauldron don't go into the water unless you can kill the goblins (they're around lvl 20) or you can swim really fast. I almost lost my corpse there but I had underwater breathing on my bard. Ugggg.

Considering I'm about always in wolf form, that's probably so.

Loving these replies. indeed, the ill memories I have of Brownie memories as a low level when I first played many moons back made me keep on the path and run like hell. Those guys are ornery, and taste better as cake. Look forward to seeing you in Norrath.
