You were my best friend, and my companion of 20 years.
I'm sorry that you had to suffer, and i hope your at peace
now. No other could replace you. This forum post
is dedicated to you. I will keep your spot by
the window open. 1991-2010 R.I.P

What a wonderful life,
For as long as you've been at my side,
And I want you to know,
I'll miss you so,
And though our days come to an end,
No, I'll never love like this again,
What a wonderful life my friend

The tag made me lol :( Sorry about your cat mate.

I had 3 cats, one died when it was 18, one at 20, one at 22. Fortunately they became such demented and annoying cats in their old age i wasn't sad when they died even remotely. And now i generally hate cats... seriously, a cat that is deaf, that thinks it will meow the hell out of your house at 3am certainly knows how to piss you off.

DAMN thats a messed up tag.

Sorry for your buddy ashimar, my old weenee dog is gettin there, 13 years. Gets more annoying the older he gets. But then i feel bad when i remember what he has left.

It's always demoralizing to lose a life long friend like this; just try to focus on the good times, and what a great life the little fur-ball had before things started to go down hill. Do not be tempted to toss photos of your pet to make it hurt less either -- years down the road it will be nice to have them in some obscure box that you open while moving, and get some good memories flooding back.

Once your done mourning, you can do the obvious thing: GET SOME KITTENS!

Nothing will make you feel better than new kittens.

edit: Forgot to say, sorry for your loss. :(

My condolences, I know what it's like to lose a pet, especially one that's been with you for a very long time.

He looked a real character, what's he looking down at in the picture? Or just wanting to get down? :p

Last year my cat died, she was 19... probably born around the same time as yours. It was sad to see her go, very friendly and my friend famously said after we'd watched 2 films - "does this cat ever stop purring or get enough attention to go and do something else?", the answer was "no". She was great.

Very annoying though at times though. Particularly with meowing outside the door and on opening it...just sitting there! lol

It's your fault for not turning your cat into a vampire like you.

I am so sorry for your loss.

What Is A Cat?

Gentle eyes
that see so much,
paws that have
the quiet touch.

Purrs to signal
"all is well"
and show more love
than words can tell.

Graceful movements
touched with pride,
a calming presence
by our side.

A friendship
that will last and grow,
small wonder
why we love them so.
