Favorite / most interesting /most challenging raid encounter (classic – PoP)

So I’m curious as to what everyone’s vote is for their favorite scripted event in Everquest is. For the sake of the many who quit Live a long time ago I want to keep it to Planes of Power or before.


My Votes:

Manaetic Behemoth (biggest challenge at the time)

and

Coldain Ring #10: Ring of Dain Frostreaver IV (most fun)

What was the boss that casted AoE whirl till you hurl without the stun?

i would have to say Vex Thal first time into it ..... that was about the longest raid day in my entire eq exp

Coirnav or TRC for most challenging. Pre-nerf TRC was inhuman.

Bert was far and away the most annoying encounter in the game, rivaled only by VT clears.

Coirnav and Ring of Vulak. Hated both of them.

Will have to say Coirnav and also The Rathe Council. Guild i was in pertty much got stuck on them for many months.

My most favorite encounters/zone was probly Plane of Time or Temple of Veeshan. Enjoyed the entire zones.

PoT was awesome, fighting all the gods in a row is badass and the boss is brutal.

That being said, the first breaking of fear on our server was the most exciting i have been to... as a monk it was quite fun.

I would also throw North ToV in there.
