my mouse is in a terminal state and aint long for this world...jim.

Any recomendations on a cheapish but quality mouse for EQ?

Prefer one with as few flashy light son it as possible.

Something in the 20quid/40 dollars region. should be enough for decent mouse?

which makes do fol;k think are best? and why...

I like my Logitech mouse a lot! It's a wireless mouse with a little USB stick to plug in. Sometimes they come with cool art on them! (http://www.target.com/p/logitech-wireless-mouse-m317c/-/A-21513657?ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=21513657&ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Other_DVM%2BShopping&adgroup=Logitech&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&location=1014485&gclid=CLmWt8z3jMoCFQkxaQodLk0GUA&gclsrc=aw.ds) (Mine has the owl pattern :) )

It's been fairly reliable so far. My clicking is pretty accurate after adjusting the motion sensitivity and it's got a good lifespan for the price. I know they make fancy mouses for gaming, but all I personally need is the three button mouse style. Logitech has several different sizes of mouses as well. The one I linked in particular is on the small side, which happens to fit my hand well.

Not sure if they're available in the UK. In the US you can find them at the ubiquitous Target.

G600 from Logitech if you like being able to bind things to thumb buttons

Think it's about ~45 new on Amazon. Can probably get it cheaper elsewhere if you're crafty. Nice mouse from when I used one at my last job :p

i prefer my Logitech M570 :)

I got hooked on the old grey/red version back in 2001. Never went back. Best mouse for minimal hand movement and long term immersion.

Same. I went through about 5 of the red/grey wired ones til i found the M570's for cheaper then the red/grey ones then i made the switch and never looked back. I have 3 of them that i use daily.

bit more than you wanted to spend, but a great mouse: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Gaming-Aircraft-Grade-Aluminum-CH-9000113-NA/dp/B014W3FHTE/ref=dp_ob_title_ce

there are also factory refurbished models available for $35-40 at some retailers; found mine at microcenter

G400 - replacement of the venerable MX518.

Or this one, which is a G400 that looks just like the ole 518

This isn't in your price range or a gaming mouse, but I use http://evoluent.com/products/vm4r/ for everything to reduce the chances of a repetitive stress injury. If you have felt any strain on your fingers / wrist / arm, I would highly recommend an ergonomic mouse for gaming.
