Ok - Just tested this in here.. and it has a 4 target limit like most AoE spells that isn't PBAE.
However, on live im a 100 % sure it was unlimited. (i used it on almost every single arena event for shits and giggles hitting everyone in the crowd) One of my favorite, sorta shitty but awesome spells in the game.
Anyone know where the hell i can find a source on this? I tried lucy, looking at the full details, but its damn near impossible to find the modifier for the 4 target limiter?

This old druid guide from Allakhazam doesn't describe it well either.

dont the mobs run off in random directions? or do they path off in a clump?
never tried this spell on live as it didnt seem to make much sense. I suppose like aoe slow, this is a crowd control spell. Never done pvp so that useage wouldnt enter my head.

I can confirm with what you're saying. Used it on my friends in the Qeynos Arena prior to the launch of Luclin. Was by far the highlight of my druid career.

AE's ignore PCs when counting towards their total limit, do they not?
Ever had a raid wizard mob cast the Al'Kabor line (limited to 5 NPCs) and it hits 20 PCs on your raid?
It should already work like this on P99. All your memories are from arenas which is normal. Sunbeam, and all targeted aEs for that matter, will exceed any number limitation if the targets are PCs.

From everything I've seen, they'd go off like a bunch of scalded cats. In addition, blinded mobs are considered to be chasing rather than feared, so you get shafted on the dot damage. I don't see that it has much good PvE use, unfortunately.
