Gfay give-away

Planning this on Saturday night 9pm est at the wizard spires. I have a couple packs full of items from Dalnir, kaesora, Tofs and Crystal caverns. Ill also be making gold JC items as well. Sorn has offered to make banded armor and hoping others will show up with something other than coal. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This is a great idea. Was thinking of doing something like this myself. I'll try to be on with some goodies. Would be great to get some help from Dial a Port or some other porter union, to bring noobs into gfay to take advantage of the opportunity.

Saturday @ 9 is kind of prime time for playing so after the porting prime time a lot of us get in groups or raid or do whatever.


Do you have any specifics on what levels you will be allowing in the give away?

Also class specific gear?

Havent given any thought about lvls, most people in Gfay are low lvl anyway. Shouldn't be a problem. Since most items are lore, I can only hold 1 of each so ive only gotten around 4 backpacks of items. Not enough to spread around to a very large gathering. Im hoping others will join me and give items out.

great, i am a new player, crazydiamond my druid, and its very difficult to have some useful gear, even if i have saved some plats bith orc belts... i wouldnt like to skip this great appointment but im wondering what time is 9PM east (im not used to it); i live in france paris, is this the same time?

WOW, finally wrapped up near 1 am. Had a blast. Gave away a lot more items than I thought I had. AG showed up and had a ton of loot. Had a race from kaladim to Akanon for a 100% weightless pack. Then got back to giving out more items. Will do this again in the near future.

I really enjoyed it, ill try to be a little more organized in the future.

One aspect for improvement would be to have one and only one item for random rolls. A few times, there were two people offering items and people rolling over each other.

And not to show a streak of greed, items that are class specific with nobody available to roll towards should be held until the very end. If nobody available, then either a free for all or just keep the item for another event. I purposely passed on items just so I would not win twice and be unavailable for future rolls.
