I just don't get the picture, the guy is nervous about the non existent snake kicks? I know snakes are just warriors in this game and do kick you, just don't get the picture lol.

Yeah, OP is imagining a guy being all stressed out about getting kicked by this legless, footless being, then feeling relieved that he was missed by the snake's kick. That would be silly. We can all laugh at that imaginary guy.
