A drought doesn't effect gardening, this dude isn't a farmer. His grandma sends him out once a day to water her plants and he takes pictures of it to share with us.

Then there are the people like Tom Sellick who seem to have to go steal it from neighboring counties. Magnum PI was caught stealing water numerous occasions from a neighboring counties fire hydrant.

I personally would love to be able to grow my own vegetables and herbs for cooking.

really tho you don't come out ahead with college until 10+ years after finishing your degree, if its even a useful degree that will get you a job. these days tuition is insane, and a degree isn't an instant fast track to a good job. i know several people with 2 year technical degrees in horticulture or landscape design who are doin pretty well for themselves, own their own businesses and make significantly more than any of their peers who did 4+yr degrees w/o debt.
