View Full Version : NPC Spawn Issue: "Ghostly presence" For Spirit of Garzicor Not Spawning

Nearly at the end of the "Spirit of Garzicor" Quest - I have encountered another bug in the line. The trigger to get the final two boss fights to spawn is not spawning in Dragon Necropolis when the phrase is being uttered at the correct location.


Say the phrase, an invisible spirit spawns. The phrase is : "You are one but two. Your vengeance shall find a home."

Give the spirit the blood and a construct looking dragon will spawn (Garzicor's Remains) and attack. Pull this back up the ramp to before the bend, so any kos to CoV people are away from spawn point. Kill this, hits for 144 has an unmemorable AE, pretty weak.

Phrase was said all over ( including as separate sentences ) and nothing spawned to hand in the blood. Please look into this so we can finish this awesome quest :)

Get some rogues on the traps; get a DMF or a Levitate on yourself and head down to the same spot you used earlier to trigger the pieces for the Urn, +1500, +1100. Make sure you have NPC names ON for this!

You must go to the same spot you went to earlier and now you will speak the phrase �You are one but two. Your vengeance shall find a home.� Spam that around a bit and eventually an invisible mob will spawn. It�s just a name floating there called �a ghostly presence� and it has no model. If you have NPC names off, you won�t be able to see it.

Give your Vial of Kromzek Blood to �a ghostly presence�. There are a few other truly invisible mobs with no names near the ghostly presence. Make sure that you see the name �a ghostly presence� in your trade window. If the name isn�t there, you are screwing up.

The trigger npc is on the same timer as the first one at that pile of bones. The same as on live.

I do see an issue with the quest where I made an error. I forgot the 'your'.

Currently the quest should work with 'you are one but two. vengeance shall find a home.'

It should be 'you are one but two. your vengeance shall find a home.'

tried this - still did not work. I then tried the other trigger that uses the same spot and it worked the moment I said that phrase, so the spot is active - just not to the phrase regardless of missing word.

I ran all over with a macro that copy paste'd what you wrote and I also tried writing out a fresh one before I just triggered the "Remember Garzicor" script which worked after typing once in the same spot.

went into DN, spammed various capitalization combinations of the supposed script as well as the script nilbog said should currently work, nothing happened

Remember, Garzicor script worked just fine though

Just tried this on my development server with no issues.

Are you putting two spaces after 'two.' ?

'you are one but two.  vengeance shall find a home.'

tried it with the two spaces on red, ghostly presence spawned and despawned like 30 seconds later

it works - going to try the encounter tonight and report back more findings

I heard rumor that you need Max Ally faction to turn the Blood into the ghost for this to work - would you be able to warn many of us if that is the case here? I saw no evidence on any of the walk throughs that max ally is needed for the final turn in - you certainly need 'ally' faction to start this quest, seems strange that the last turn in would require a sudden boost in faction.

The ghostly presence does not require ally.

ALL turn ins to Eldriaks do require max ally.

Do you mean just the final turn ins - after the dragon fight?

I am ready to spawn the dragons and have done the quest to that point at simply ally not max.

He tells you to go give the urn to Eldriaks Fe'dhar. - I have done this at ally not max ally and it worked fine.

Hand in the staff, blade, and tsuba to Eldriaks. - also have done this at ally not max ally and it worked fine.

I have already turned in the dragon dust urn to Eldriaks many many many times at Ally but not max and the quest lets me progress.

It's based on the level of ally. High ally works. I wouldn't do the turn ins unless maxed or feeling lucky.

i gave the urn to eldriaks at barely-into-ally, or at least it seemed that way, and it worked

did the staff/blade/tsuba at max ally tho

did this tonight, entire script worked fine

the only thing i noticed is that the wraith is slowable, which as far as i knew he shouldn't be

Bit presumptuous. Rampage got the first one Monday night. I got the 2nd one, with Ramp's help, around 4pm today.

It's the same throughout right? So if we could do the earliest turn ins for the dust (and were high, not max ally), we are good for the rest?

yes completed the earring tonight with high ally not max. I did all the turn ins prior so figured same as you.
