I played for a few days over a year ago, then life happened and I couldn't play. I'm returning tonight and thought I'd start a cleric. Any advice, tips or whatever help would be appreciated. My cleric is Elessiel.

Hey friend, general clericing tips...+wisdom, +mana stuff is always good :)

If you made a high elf consider a few points in str (has a high elf ring to your name).

Don't forget to put a point in meditate at level 8, you'll feel like mana goes way quicker when sitting.

From 9-10 onwards I wouldn't worry too much about meleeing unless its a unique situation or you're soloing. Sitting and healing your group is the best way.

Your cleric name sounds elven, so i am just assuming this now.
Biggest problem for an elven cleric is the abysmal strength while at the same time you are a plate wearing class. There are several solutions for that. If you did not create your cleric yet you could try another race, or put some points into strength. If you did already i would go for at least some items that have a bit strength.

Other than that, grouping is the ticket to advancement for clerics. If you have to solo, try undeads. Always have that self invul spell memmed in case you get too much aggro in a group. Buff your tanks and enchanters and *always* tell people when you go afk, several times.

Cleric is a wise decision. Many starting locations, you are in demand at every level, and in time your services will offer earning potential.
