After the fear 2.0 revamp, when golems DT, they should spawn the Iksar broodling 100% of the time...they currently are not this a bug or as intended?

What evidence do you have of them spawning 100% of the time?
A quick Allakhazam search under Iksar broodling pulls up this:
November 2001:
This guy spawns on top of the dead golem (Dread, Terror and/or Fright). Has about 15 hp, hits for 4 (folks were teasing one: taunt, then med, get hit, taunt, med, repeat until the shaman comes back from the bathroom or is rezzed). Does not always spawn on top of the corpse. Took me 4 fear raids to get one (and that night we dropped all 3 golems and got 2 broodlings).
Implying it isn't a guaranteed spawn.

Already have a 53 shaman, Fungi, Epic, Fungi staff, JB Bracer, and Legs.
Also have epiced Ranger, Rogue, Cleric. Also have fully geared 200 MR unbuffed Warrior. Ive come a long way since the days in bda.
This comes from personal exp from farming in 2004-2009 the golems ALWAYS spawned broodlings never was there a time i didnt see this Iksar. Is there a Fear 3.0? I dont recall that revamp. Once the golems flipped to 3 day spawns broodling is 100% from what ive saw in Fear from 04 to 09 during my farming days on live.
Here is some replys from 2001

After Killing the 3 golems, Fright, Dread, and Terror. This lvl 1 iskar pops, kill it and get the Iskar Childs Tear, for the final step for shaman epic.

Hehe u can try to but your chances r very bad. This Mob spawned after we killed Dread and Fight (any1 else took out Terror i guess)
These here 2 different ones are stating a 100% spawn rate im going with over that 1

The iksar is spawned after killing any one of the three golems in the Plane of Fear.
If you happen to be on a raid where no-one needs this, check to see if any shaman you know does and invite them over to loot it. It serves no purpose to anyone else, and I am sure the shaman would be VERY grateful Smiley: bowdown

~2003 newsgroup string
I did CT recently which requires clearing everything, so the golems dropped
along the way. The iksar broodling spawns right where the golem dies, and
can spawn off of all three golems (we got 2).
As far as force needed... you should start by telling us what kind of
force you have available. First thing, two of the three golems deathtouch.
They'll deathtouch when they're first pulled (have a suicide puller and a
backup puller standing right behind him to tag and bring to camp). They
will then deathtouch again once every 30 seconds or so, so expect your MT to
drop not far into the fight and be ready for it. They hit for ~400, have a
minor AE that wasn't enough of an annoyance for me to even notice it really,
but that's coming from a fairly well-equipped level 65 viewpoint, probably
100 to 300 point AE, cold resist if the graphic was any indication.
If you can do Vindi or Trakanon, you can handle the golems. If you can't,
you *might* be able to handle the golems. They're easier than Vindi and
Trak, but not by a whole lot (and at my level, Vindi actually becomes
easier, because it doesn't matter how good your equipment is, a deathtouch
is the end).
He could mean they got 2 of the golems or they got 2x iksar broodlings off the trio. The second one makes sense in light of this next post further down the string:
There are three Golems in Fear, only two of them will cause a broodling
to spawn upon dying. One of the three is easier than the others, as he
does not Death Touch. He does AoE a cold spell, but, it's not too bad.
The other two golems both Death Touch. This means the person who gets
aggro first will die. After that, every 45? seconds, the person who is
highest on the hate list will die as well. There is no way to avoid the
Death Touch, it will kill. The good news is that for the broodlings, you
only need to go after one of the Death Touching golems. On the other
hand, other people also need drops off the golems, SKs and Warriors I
know for sure, so, it's a good idea to kill all three while you are
there.
Come with lots of DPS, designate a sacrificial puller to grab the golem,
that puller will die, then try to kill the golem before his Death Touch
refreshes. On your first attempts, you probably won't succeed in this,
so be sure you have several tanks lined up to MA them.
You have stated nothing about the level of players in your guild, or the
number of people that will be there, so it's hard to be very specific.

Broodling still spawns. I doubt they changed the % chance from the revamp - which makes it overall rarer since Golems are 3 day instead of 8 hour now. It probably should be a higher chance now but 100% seems wrong.

From my personal runs into fear every golem I ever killed spawned one. Even if its 100% only from the DTers it would be more correct as i tended to leave the Iksar up for any passing by shamans wanting epic. Also (not like its going to happen on this server) the iksar didnt despawn I had upto 3 of them at 1 temple during my days of farming fear.
