How hard is the rygorr 8th ring quest?

surprisingly easy. everyone probably has their own way of doing it, solo i would probably say yes on blue but not worth risk on red. 2-3 people, sneak pull or lull, seen 2rog + 1 shm backstab the orcs inside down til chief before garadain even pathed in.

Bard you could probably try charm killing to get the pet to die, but they dont kill nearly fast enough. if the orcs were the only thing not the giants too it would be even more of a joke.
