I'd be surprised if they managed to find 10,000 "Syrian refugees" who are willing to go to the US instead of Germoney, and how many of them are actually orphans and toddlers and women. (Hint: The vast majority of European refugees are adult males)

And I would add that these are the same folks who suggested they’re so tough that just talk to Putin or staring down ISIL (will work), but they’re scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America as part of our tradition of compassion. First they were worried the press was too tough on them in the debates; now they’re worried about 3-year old orphans. That doesn’t sound very tough to me.

Would you prefer a bit more transparency in politics, as Russia has with its known government sanctioned autocrats and oligarchs (oligarchs are merely their version of billionaires, they choose to "name and shame" oligarchs in Russia through state-sanctioned media, which adds tremendous transparency, making sure people are aware of what big money is doing and that big money can be evil. And many people appreciate Putin for doing so despite being an autocrat, you get to know him and his administration and how it operates, and the fact that it considers big money a threat and acknowledges so in government sanctioned news.
