View Full Version : Game Mechanics: Slam/bash always interrupts a mob?

I've been playing a Troll SK and noticing how every time my slam racial ability lands it will interrupt a caster. This feels overpowered compared to classic and I recall the slam/bash ability only having a chance to interrupt if it lands rather than a guaranteed interrupt. I regularly go entire fights not letting a caster finish any spells.

Does anyone else remember this functionality? I know we need evidence to confirm but curious what others think.

It's 100% Interrupt until the Mid 50s, then mobs apparently get better at Channeling. This is why Large Races were so good in classic. Shamans can Slam. (0 Skill so they miss often, but still worth using!)

This is why troll/ogre/barb is such a better race then the rest. All 3 have slam with a 2 hn weapon. On top of the other racial abilities.

It isn't 100% chance to interrupt, some mobs will channel through.
Usually those channeled spells are heals.
