imo stop gaming for a while and focus on industry certifications. I quit playing games entirely for about 6-7 years and put all that time into work related things and trust me you will be glad you did.

I should probably do the same with software development. Don't think I would have gotten the recent raise I acquired if I'd been involved with video gaming at all.

Itching to play something though, thinking preferably single player in order to avoid a sense of responsibility. Heard there's people keeping 100% raid attendance and Americans who've adopted 3 AM raid times, some didn't realize the summer came and went.

Marrowind is Oblivion is Skyrim, just different time frames, and different graphics. They are all great games but get mundane quickly. Try the Witcher series if you want some well made games. Witcher 1 was badass the first time through.

If you are looking for a 1 player game you should get Dark Souls. You still have multiplayer aspects because you can do coop or invade other peoples world but it is a great hardcore 1 player game. You can make it a lot tougher by not summoning people in to help if you are looking for a challenge.

PC and console work. If you are playing on PC you will want a controller anyways.

I agree morrowind is way more deep.

I had more fun modding oblivion than I did actually playing it. I did play Oblivion first on the Xbox and that was pretty fucking awesome for about a month.

Marrowind is a classic; I wouldn't play it at this point without combat/character advancement mods.

You might as well play Fallout 4: fantastic gameplay, beautiful world, thoughtful itemization, engaging questlines, dynamic and challenging novel encounters with lifelike AI opponents.

Weapon customization is also rewarding and straight-forward (though I use codes for all the materials, you won't find me scrubbing the wasteland for Adhesive).

Nothing quite like building a .50 cal short barrel suppressed hunting rifle with a pistol grip and headshotting mutants followed by malatov cocktails and a shotty...

Dark souls/Demon souls series are some of the best games going IMO. If you use any sort of guide for your first playthrough you are doing yourself a disservice. Only resort to guides once you are completely lost!

Im still playing Jedi Academy like 10 years later, i can do the same thing with unreal 2004.

SWG was a sandbox done horribly. It learned almost nothing from UO, magnifying the FOTM (flavor of the month) problems.

SWG was only fun if you were a temploiter. Sure, it's fun if you can take on (and kill) crowds of people at low risk, because you read about the best temploits online. Yey combat medics!

But as a whole, the game was a remarkable failure of undelivered promises, a system built on grinding, and the absolute worst balance I've ever seen in an MMO.

haha SWG was the most broken a game can get without it becoming fun becuse of how broken it was.

I went to a dark spot on a planet and it was a cave in a volcano full if IG-88 droids that had no scripting or code or AI, i just attacked one and killed it after like 20 minutes of my meager DPS and got an xp reward

It did have like one area where a group of empire scouts were at a small out post and some ai reble would fight them and that was cool

I went to Yavin 4 to see what reminaed of the rebel outpost there and in the GIANT room was 1 empire dude that said nothing when you 'hailed' him

I was able to get a full suit of stormtrooper armor at lunch tho becuse there was a bug that everyone got the reawrds in your group whenever anyone did a quest turnin.. so we would jus tmake 6 man groups that did the quest to give you stormtrooper armor.

Every day I wake up and before I go to work i say outloud, "i wish the old republic MMO was in the SWG universe, and the SWG mmo was in the Knights of the old republic"
