Stuck on server select

This is probably an EQEmu problem but I'll post it here in case anyone has a solution.

Attempting to log into any server, not just p99/red99 just gives
"An unknown error occurred while trying to join the server"

Anyone else run into this today at all?

Many of us see this occasionally, and it usually fixes itself. "Server hiccup," maybe?

Unforunately not, even tried /release /renew on top of /flushdns, didn't make a difference. Thanks for the link anyway.

Getting same issue here.

flushdns didn't do it for me, trying https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/?hl=en

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (google dns servers) see if that fixes it. Cauze who knows maybe its the isp caching bad dns info?

***NOTE** Run->CMD->ipconfig /flushdns worked for me. I am in now.

yeah, people on http://www.eqemulator.org/ are reporting it for other servers as well. seems to be a bigger issue

I'm getting this issue as well. Was able to log on about 2 hours ago with no issue.

FML, just got this error while I was doing an item transfer

restarted and logged right in doubt that fixes the problem but worth a try

"An unknown error occurred while trying to join the server" problem for me also. I play from the Philippines and rarely have a problem. Was in earlier today, now nada.

edit: I'd also like to add that it first happened to me whilst playing on my 10 inch at Target deli guest Wi-Fi and then came home to desktop to same results. Also, if only for a night, John Mayer is quite an acceptable Jerry Garcia

Me too, but after a few minutes of trying, just got back in at around 7:30 EST.

just got in, i did disconnect network, fail/timeout the login, then reconnect network, things are working again
