Not really a bug per say... but this should be included in the next patch:

http://www.project1999.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1356475&postcount=2

Well I did find a post that does indicate that there was a pre-nerf version;

https://forums.station.sony.com/eq/index.php?threads/what-are-the-top-20-or-so-most-rare-items-in-game.182909/#post-2709404

"they don't show up in the buyer window on bristlebane which means they do not exist at all on that whole server. you can search for other extremely rare tradable stuff like ornate velium pendant (pre nerf) and it shows up."

maybe someone can log on to bristlebane and try to locate a pre-nerf orante velium pendant?

Also here's a link to a page that has both 4charge and unlimited charge pendants displayed;

http://eqsearchpro.pleyhades.com/ShowItem.php?item=18522

and here's the Allak listing for the unlimited version; http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=27765

and here's the lucy entry for it; http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=30294

The earliest recorded instance of the nerfed version has comments that start at April 21st, 2001

Just to clarify for those unaware, that's not how the buyer window functions on EQLive.

The buyer window is populated by players loading into the Bazaar with that specific item in their inventory.

Plenty of items exist on servers, but are not listed in the buyer window because they exist on players who have never step foot in the bazaar, having long since quit. This would be a prime example of one. Basically anyone who hasn't zoned into the bazaar since 2005-6 would be excluded for example. So all those people who quit before 2005/6, they may have trade able items not listed in Buyer because they never step foot in the zone.

That being said, its presence there is irrelevant. They added an NPC in game that sells most every item removed from game (Manastones, Ornate Velium Pendants, CoS, etc.) for huge sums of plat to handle inflation:

http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=47492

The items that exist on live may have originated from that and therefore their presence there doesn't prove anything on when it was removed.

Thanks for the clarification. I just copy and pasted from the thread that I linked first in my post.
