Is the Stormfeather spawn working as intended?

I know there is quite a controversy about his spawntime but I took over camp from sombody who's prequel waited 28h with no spawn and the guy I took over tried 28h. I've been on him for 28h now with no luck.

"From my research, the classic Stormfeather could be a maximum of 72(ish due to max 3 skips + -1/1) hour camp and Lodizal could be 54(ish due to max 2 skips + -1/1). If there are arguments, post up your research.

Are you sure it didn't spawn in between at any point? Continuous 84 hours of camping?

he is an 18hr camp with a 2 hour window.. he can skip 3 times which can take 72hrs to get him for sure.. i did the camp last week.. took me 36hr 4mins... my guildie had some bad luck and had to wait the 72hr max spawn time. BTW the window increases from 2-8 depending how many times it skipped.

Got it yesterday, seems it skipped three times and finally popped in the fourth window. I was just a lil confused with Nilbog's post stating that one would have a guaranteed pop in 72h.
