as a rallos vet i loved gfay trading hub, evils can bank through the window, theres no multiple zoning to reach the bank either.

plus its one of the coolest zones in the game, and would bring lots of life to one of the best leveling areas ever.

any new character I started would get moved to Gfay ASAP. Not only could you beg buffs off high lvls to pwr lvl yourself, there was an abundance of low lvl pvp to be had.

wiz spires on the same zone. no zoning. druid rings so damn close also. evils can bank much easier than in freeport, ganking is easier to avoid also. and most of the low lvl pop, twinks and pop up to lvl 40 is on faydwer. It was the trading hub pre-bazaar on tallon zek and other pvp servers for a reason. Freeport makes no sense really, not sure what would be needed to move this as a community but im trying to make a point here

I agree. It is pretty far and out of the way, but seems like the only real logical place that lights, darks as well as new players can access. Also travel to OT and back. Gfay is just too hard for darks to travel to and bank at.

This in my opinion is a huge advantage in itself. Noone is going to instantly port right to you and gank you when they see you are in zone. Most cases people would have to port WC and run 3 zones over just not worth it most of the time. Gfay trading won't happen here guys deal with it, it's stupid.


Also, Freeport is alot smaller so if invis was wearing off at a bad time you should be able to make it to zone even with pvp on you. Gfay? Good luck.

I don't play here (just waiting for Discord), but on gfay banking...

I used to PK at gfay bank all the time, albeit before velious. You can zone in as a wiz, light people up, loot, and lev/shadowstep away (SS usually puts you on the ground fairly far away) long before guards were a serious issue.

Thing with people banking is they're no where near as alert as people xp'ing, so as a PK it was a regular rotation to bop into gfay for a quick and easy kill on people who are nowhere near as alert as someone in lguk trying to hold 2-3 camps down.

FP seems weird to me, but I wouldn't bother PKing there since it would be so hard to access. Not worth the time for a maybe-kill with complications.

Kelethin was never the trading hub on Rallos. We didn't really have one though. You set up a trade and agreed to meet somewhere.

There were a decent number of trades and banking done in kelethin because it was convenient... And convenient to PK in.

I probably made more from kelethin than I did dungeon kills. It was no OOT, but man were they easy kills that sometimes really paid off.

Ok so ive been speaking with Thunderdome officers, it seems they will be moving as a guild there for the tradin hub thing, gfay DOES have lvl1 protection. This morning magicite moved his mule and i helped with with the transfering etc, it was done in 5 minutes and went smoothly. Ill try it again today on peak hours, see if we get more mules moving, got a couple of guys who already told me they will be moving. Lets make this happen

As a darkie its way easier to bank and not get ganked, there are less guards but still u can jump and run, or just keep runing clicking jboots to get to a zl, as a lightie u can stick to a guard etc like in nfp
