Is the Stormfeather spawn working as intended?

I know there is quite a controversy about his spawntime but I took over camp from sombody who's prequel waited 28h with no spawn and the guy I took over tried 38h. I've been on him for 26h now with no luck.

Nilbog posted on 08-27-2013 03:55PM:
"From my research, the classic Stormfeather could be a maximum of 72(ish due to max 3 skips + -1/1) hour camp and Lodizal could be 54(ish due to max 2 skips + -1/1). If there are arguments, post up your research.

Everything here is gtg aside from the boat path.

Thanks folks, moving on.

since I was not playing 24/24 I remember camping more than one week at 12h a day to get mine on live, and that was already late on the progression line, zone was empty most of the time... this is definitely one of the most painful camp, seems like you've not been too lucky but nothing unheard of...

Got it yesterday, seems it skipped three times and finally popped in the fourth window. I was just a lil confused with Nilbog's post stating that one would have a guaranteed pop in 72h.

does that mean you were online at the camp for 80 hours uninterrupted? im curious how you know you caught every spawn chance and didnt just miss one?
