I bet the number of guises handed out during 99-01 events on live could be counted on one hand. I remember the mayong mistmoore event in steamfont on RZ back in the day. We did it because it was something fun and new, and nothing more, because when we killed him he dropped a newbie robe.

GMs handing out too much at events has literally killed servers. Feelings get hurt over handing out too much, with suspicion that GMs rigged it to some degree to give big rewards to the people they want to/like.

You're on a pvp server. GM events should be mostly dickery and hijinx with rewards being minimal at best.
