Hey,

I know this gets asked about from time to time, but some information I didn't find from search and some I hoped to get more current info.

I'm hoping to get my shaman's sow boots. I never really leveled in MM so I don't know much about the place. Advisor is a four hour spawn I guess. Is he usually killed by groups already exping there? If I pop in on my druid in the evenings for a while am I likely to find an opportunity in a reasonable amount of time? My current guild is not particularly capable of dealing with this sort of thing unless I get lucky with who is on at the time (unlikely), so would I have very long to round up help before despawn, someone else kills?

Sorry for the questions, but any useful info really appreciated.

I went there a few evenings ago to get my boots. Advisor was up even though there were people there exp'ing. I got the impression that one of Advisor or BD are usually up.

I had a 60 shammy, 60 mage and 60 wiz. They slaughtered BD and it felt like overkill. I was 37 at the time but might as well not have been there as I didn't contribute to the fight which was done in like 30-40 secs.

Remember that you need a 60 to single pull BD. Best of luck :)

not exactly....leave the advisor up, kill the 4 wolves, then advisor...pop BD and you can pull it before the 4 wolves repop.

can do BD with 3 50s and 3 lvl 40s is the grp. helps if some the toons are welll equiped! as with any mob, the higher the grp the smoother the kill.....

(its much easier if you have at least one lvl 55 in grp, but its doable without....repops can be an issue tho)

We just did this for a guildee. We had a 57 monk, 51 cleric, 50 rogue, 49 shaman and a 60 enchanter.

We killed the 4 wolves before spawning BD. About half-way through the fight, the enchanter landed a slow. The cleric never even cast a heal.

If you want help, PM me and we can work out a time to kill him easily enough. :)

The deed is done! Big shout out to Sockin <Azure Guard> and Hoerkin <Infernus> for being awesome. With a 56 Monk, a 60 cleric, and a mostly superfluous me playing 56 druid it was np.
