Rogues - Black Ice Leggings or Mithril Greaves?

Trying to decide which one to keep for my main. The main difference is really sacrificing weight and SV VS MAG for AC. What do you all think?

Pretty sure Red is a ghost town, making that server kind of a joke. You can camp anything without ever seeing another person. Neat single player game ya got there :D

Going to agree with the blue/red post. Red = mithril blue = doesn't matter

Those are equivalent items. Stats don't matter that much in EQ and going one or the other isn't make or break your character for PvE. Even PvP (or raiding) 5 MR isn't going change much by itself. I would suggest whichever color looks prettier with your other stuff.

mithril are significantly better on red, and both legs are about the same on blue. if you're even remotely well geared you're already at the buffed strength cap, trying to drop points for dex/sta/hp and neither of those legs provide any.

cecily don't you play red? 5mr can make a pretty big difference with rogue itemization until you start getting into higher-end kunark, or velious raid gear. could easily be the difference between getting to run diamond rings, or having to run jacinth.

I did for awhile. Probably will when / if I return to EQ. My logic is that 5 MR is important if you're gonna hit a resist milestone for root resist or w/e. If you're at or below that point.. it isn't gonna affect your immersion one way or another. More is obviously better. 5 points isn't make or break however Imho.

5 points closer to a resist milestone though, and if the guy's at the gear level where he's considering black ice vs mith he needs every point he can get.
