Its P99, surely there are some RPers willing to give a new member a lift on the hardcore world of Norrath?

I've formed a guild literally called <Roleplayers>. It's just me and two RL friends, but anybody is welcome to join. We play very infrequently, so if you're looking for an active and decent-sized guild we certainly aren't it. We also aren't really high enough level to give you much of a leg up in Norrath.

Nearly the only reason to join would be to have the word <Roleplayers> beside your name so that people have an idea of what you might be about. Everybody uses /anon to go completely level/location/guild dark, and everybody uses /role to simply go level/location dark while still showing their guild tag. This is commonplace amongst competing guilds that don't want to reveal their whereabouts and antics, but still want to display their allegiances. Well what about me?! I want to use /role the way I have to assume the game intended it—to actually signify roleplaying. So I made a guild tag to do that for me. When I don't want to roleplay I simply go /anon. Pretty simple.

We aren't even heavy into roleplaying. Just dabble here and there. Mostly we just try to conduct ourselves in a way that isn't immersion-breaking.

Anyway, I suspect this post will waste as much time for you to read it as it did for me to write it! :o

Happy to RP but I'm on Euro hours so pretty much impossible to catch.

I typically roleplay my wizard, Serous. Azure Guard tolerates it :P.

Why you so Serous?!

(Lol, Serous hates me, but that joke is always going to make me laugh!)

I played live on Brell Serelis. It was sort of the unofficial RP server and I LOVED it. Hardly anybody roleplays here and it hurts my heart.

I do have a guildmate, an Ogre Shaman, who stays in character in guildchat. It's really fun. An homage to a bygone era.

Crying Native American photo on fleek btw. (it's what the kids are currently saying)

Ha! For how I play the character, it's usually a legitimate question. :p

I am usually in character as well. I play Aegnor as though he were a very unskilled wizard with no sense of how much rage his sunstrikes are going to produce in the typical monster.

lol

During raids, my in-character tends to lapse. Otherwise, I try to at least speak in character. :)

Forgive me, Omera, for hijacking your thread. :)

Depend on the rp you seekings i mean eqlive rp back in the say was real rp it was improv people just stayed incharacter. RP has died a bit imo in mainstream games now people dont rp they simple sit around and swap stories or they script their rp which isnt rp. If you see me in p99 im always gonna be incharacter just like how i was back when eqlive first released.I think everyone back in the day pretty much stayed ic though was just common back then.
