Class balance in Velious

How is class balance in Velious on Red99 compared to Kunark era?

I left to jam the Prog servers and haven't played/browsed forums of Red99 since Velious was released. I last played during Kunark era when Haynar(sp?) was tweaking resists and melee damage when the flavor of the month was shaman/rogue. Is there still a Dev helping Red99 be more balanced?
