Been killing him for his robe over the last week. As of this last patch, he behaves as a warrior and not a wizard and does not cast spells.

I seem to notice this with wizard mobs in general... Some of them just dont want to cast their spells.

I fought him and he casts wizard spells.

Anyone confirm/deny problem with this?

Well I definitely got hit by an Ice Comet in fear on Sunday... so that particular wizard knew what to do.

Fought him 5-6 days ago and he was casting spells.

I was going to post this in a different thread but I guess it's appropriate to post it here. Sometimes (seemingly after you mez something (maybe charm too?)) mobs will "forget" to cast spells. There's no sure way of succeeding in doing this, but I've had caster mobs that definitely didn't run out of mana completely stop casting spells for the duration of a battle, making it extremely easy to kill them. And as I said, I'm not sure, but I believe it happens when you mez them (after mez breaks), at least with Bard mez.
