Plat Farming for a level 51 Monk?

I am level 51 currently, and I need a place to get some fat stacks of plat. I've put days (over the course of my character's lifetime) into farming Grach, and I swear if I have to look at another Kunark Goblin's face I'm gonna have a meltdown.

Not looking for EXP, JUST plat. What's another good place to get fast plat from? Hadden seems to be always camped, and HG's aren't very fast since there are always people there.

How bout Haze panter / Black panther skins in WL? See them going for 1k / 100, respectively. Can hit up Goos and Geonids for gems? Maybe take down an Elder for some Hog beads while you're there.

Thanks for the advice! I'll check all those out. Glad I'm gonna get a chance to check out some Velious content, seeing as I only really got into Kael / GD when I played back in dem days.

You should give HHK a shot if you haven't already. You can easily make around 500pp a hour there killing the guards. Each guard drops a fine steel short sword and up to a plat. Will be much easier if you go during off hours when they aren't over camped by people xping off them. Bank and vendor in zone that sells food, water, and bandages. On a side note, killing the nobles/bards is some of the best solo xp in game for a monk 50-55.

Leveling up would open more cash camps and is always the best course of action imo. Group buffs are always a better boost than expensive gear.
51 is a good level for grouping in KC, a bit of cash + xp.

Holgresh beads camp is probably your best bet for cash only.

You could also offer to powerlevel low-level melees.

But seriously, go level up :p

None you can solo as a monk. Group up and do HS/Seb/Velks.

Purely solo you cannot camp much.
I suppose Xalgoz becomes an option at 60, but it's an awful drop rate for the good staff.
Same for Tstaff in KC, you could camp wl rooms solo but drop rate is awful.
Droga and elder beads become easier.

Overall, bad class to farm plat.

At your level you could also get lucky at Sarnak fort in LOIO, farming legionnaires for bracer of the hidden.
Spectres and their 12plat scythe could be an option but they are always camped.

Frenzy camp in Velks would be good if you can get into the group. The gloves sell for something like 8k and you can get gems as well - you may be a little low for the camp though.

Honestly the best way to make money is to get higher level - you can then start hunting at places that drop top end loot. Get 55+ and if you get a Fungi tunic from Seb, you just made 65k, you don't have options like that pre 55. 55+ you can do Brood Mother in Velks, I don't think I have ever left that camp without making 5k-15k. I honestly don't know if you can even camp Elder Beads solo at 51, I think it would be a rough camp with the casters.

Basically 51 is a sh!t level to try to camp anything as a monk. FBSS from guk?...you might but it would be dangerous and slow and the item only sells for 4k now.

Pull for the hands group in KC and if TStaff drops - 30k - If paw buster spawns 5k for pipe.

Sell power levels for lvl 1-20. Guaranteed money per hour. Charge for 1-20 or do hourly at 1k. No deaths, no wipes, no waiting for camps to open.

You can do none of these things safely at level 51 besides goblin earring as a monk

Better to get consistent plat by mass killing greens or easy to kill blues that have a vendor nearby to sell to. A monk won't be able to kill many high value named targets. Try slaughtering guards in Rivervale.

I feel your pain through and through as I'm in the process of leveling a monk as my first toon on P99.

I haven't made a ton of money, but 99% of the play I get comes from groups. The two lucrative groups for myself are Disco in Seb and Hand in KC. You don't really need much as a monk other than levels. it takes a little bit of patience being poor and underequipped but the payout for grinding levels now is big later.

I also managed to camp most of my epic solo at L51-54 and getting that was a huge game changer. The only thing I paid for was a chard ok pipe MQ.
