Guard Mechanics

Hello, I recently started fighting guards in one of the evil cities. For the first few pulls i was able to run past some green guards, pull a blue guard through the green ones, and root/nuke it down. After about 3-4 kills i was getting agro from the green guards.

At the beginning i was conned threateningly and still am. I am wondering why the green guards are now attacking as I don't think they should be unless I am misunderstanding the mechanics.

Also some other strange things. standing further away did not agro these guards but if i sat down they would come at me. Sometimes standing equidistant only one would agro and the other would stay put.

Trying to figure out this camp, can anyone help me out on what is going on? Could it be because I was below 50% hp? or dropped below some limit in faction?

Nothing to do with faction since it's already bad. Could be low hp, could be level of 1 green guard compared to the other green guard.

Could be that you were pulling but the pull didn't path near enough to a green guard that you weren't getting agro from him and after you were getting agro because it was closer.

There are a couple factors that can be considered.

There is two types of green cons.
The old light blues= some greens, will have a different message attached at the end.
This monster may pose a threat or problems yadayadayada
as compared to you will safely annihilate this thing.

Ok thanks for the suggestions. So if I am understanding correctly a real green guard should not agro aslong as I have decent HP and am standing.

Best to inviz before sitting down near any hostile greens, else they will
probably come at you.

With the exception of Eastern Wastes where a level 60 can sit down and agro the whole zone.

That was broke in live and broke here. NO OTHER ZONE (in that level range) react like EW. It's insane.
