Excited to play this, love starwars, love games, love battlefield.. v excited.

That said from what I've seen it does look like its going to get a little repetitive.

Thing Im the most sad about is that they are going for a 'feel like you're a storm trooper or rebel soldier warm body vibe' with this one (kek get your I should be used to it being a warm body in <empire> already jokes out while you can). There is that one alien race, the rhodan in this that you can pick.. but thats it!

I wish I could like upgrade my avatar by geting points in game and spending them on unlocking alien races, skins, armor, weapon alterations and all that jazz.. you know, there is just SO much content in the SW universe..

I wish that I was in a match playing as 4-Lom or IG-88 and out of nowhere Zukuss and Bossk jump out and start shooting at me, and from accross the map i could see some death star gunner running and gunning with his random pistol or whatever that he unlcoked..

I get it, I know they are after a differant thing that what I want, and thats cool.. and also the starawras property is like super protected and there are like 10,000 cooks in this kitchen already, which is why its going to be a very conservitive game..

but god dammit, i want to play as a ATAT pilot with spray painted camouflage armor with sniper rifle if I wanted to.

Any features that this game should have will be intentionally withheld for battlefront 2. Classic EA style, not removing destructable buildings in battlefield 3 to add them in 4. Such a nice company.

Alright, I got to play this for an hour last night. It was everything battlefield is, with starwars.

THat means a VERY immersive experience of what its like to be in a war/in a movie about a war.

So its got what you'd expect from any Dice game. Great sound, visual effects, art etc..

Walking underneeth an ATAT while it slowly aproaches the rebel (scum) base looks, and feels exactly like it did in Empire after Luke crashed his speeder, it was nuckn futs!!!

I was worried that it would be faceless solders fighting each other, which is fine in BF games, but in Starwas, I want to see IG-88 and 4-Lom, Bossk and shit flying/running around.. not a bunch of rebel (scum) soldiers.. So the first thing I checked was to see what kinds of unlocks there were..

It looks like there are some unlocks, but not as many as the SW cannon would allow for. There were 4 storm trooper unlocks and 4 rebel (scum) unlocks (skins I mean). There were 4 guns, that were shared between the rebel (scum) and Empire sides (thats really not that many guns in a universe where literately every character has a unique gun in the movies).

There are 4 Utility item unlocks, again not that many.

Anyway, there are unlocks & skins so thats cool, hopefully they make a shit ton of money and just keep iterating and building on this game, becuse its fun as FUCK.

If you like starwars, this is as close as it gets to being inside it.

I wish it was an MMO so i could just walk into some bar on Corusscunt and some kid would ask me if i wanted to buy a death stick and id just start blasting up and fucking slaughtering everyone and then lol and go to some battlefield and get some player kills.

But whatever, it is what it is, a fantastic DICE game, with the starwars license.

Yea, its a pretty decent cross between a PC and console FPS. Some of it feels less immersive than older versions of Battlefield but it still has that Battlefield fee. The audio is great per the usual Dice game, the effects are a big step up in quality from the last few games.

The like unlocks/vehical/powerups feel very 'Consoly' which I dont like but its not that bad.

The unlocks are pretty dumb so far, it seems like there is more available that is deactivated in the beta, but it doesnt seem like much but at least its something.

Im looking forward to the full version because surely they will allow you to play as Boba Fett at some point which surely will be fuckn awesome.

I did some Darth Vader and went straight into Echo base and fucked people up like it was a Michael Bay remake of Empire Strikes Back and that was fuckn fun as fuk

So yea its alright.

The Black Ops 3 beta was like 10 times better, didn't get bored of that, there's only so much fun you can have with only 2 levels.

Well, since I mentioned Black Ops 3, that much content. Several maps & modes, many weapons and classes to choose from. Yeah, BO3 Beta was 100 times better, not the 10 I said before.

This beta was almost exactly like the previous test only with Vader and Luke added right? I played the last one over the summer but not this one, and I'm worried about the game. I'm not spending $60 for a Hoth map then paying for multiple expansions later that will finally complete the game.

It's fun but it's not that fun.
