Why doesn't Song of Highsun work?

I don't have the song yet, nor have I ever tried it. However, from reading the description the very first thing that pops into my mind is ... "TRANSLOCATE!" ... /duel, sing, translocate person.

I know this can't possible work or you'd see people asking Bards for TLs... so my question is... why doesn't it work? The song says what it says... GIMME.

song of highsun shadowsteps your target

when an NPC is forced to shadowstep, it places them at their bind(spawn point)

a player will actually just shadowstep

Shame it doesn't do what it says =( Thanks for the quick reply though. While on the topic of songs that don't do what they say. What does the Invulnerability song ACTUALLY do?

i don't understand what you mean

any spell database says highsun shadowsteps, 2 slot dispels, and stuns

kazumi's note of preservation makes you and your group invulnerable for 3 ticks, same as Divine Aura
