View Full Version : Spells: Yaulp IV not scribable by paladins

My scroll of Yaulp IV still only lists clerics as the usable class, and I am not able to scribe it on my level 60 paladin.

According to the patch notes I should be able to now use this spell (and it should be the new "enhanced" version).

Can verify that this is happening to my paladin as well. I have the scroll but only cleric is listed. Screenshot and time-stamp from ingame below.

Yaulp IV (Feb2001) updated PAL lvl 255 => 60

This spell can't be scribed by paladins yet please fix this.

I will be looking into this in an attempt to find what is wrong.

Which spells besides Yaulp IV should have been updated since Velious but are not functioning properly in regards to scribing?

I thought this was already set it just requires the server to actually reset? We haven't had a server reset in 2-3 months that updated things.

Hybrid skill caps, PoHate updated drop tables (Mage epic is not doable currently), and I think a few spells, including this one have been posted as solved, they just require the server to come down for a patch.

Yaulp is mentioned in that era update however I believe it was something about it being a hotfix not a server patch that made it not fully go through?

No, this should have worked. The data was already in the spells file. As the server has been shut down/restarted etc since that time, it should be working now.

Yaulp IV: what else?

Resist magic was the only other paladin specific spell but that one was fixed and implemented. Yaulp is lame though, tell us whats wrong with our defense skill cap!
