anyways, ive removed windows 10. if anyone else was curious as to how to do it, just restore your PC back to factory settings.
Reformat drive. Install linux. If you absolutely need windows for something, run it in a virtual machine. VMware and VirtualBox are free and super easy to use. Ubuntu and Mint are two popular and free linux distros you can check out. Made the switch to linux on my media box awhile ago and would do the same on my gaming PC if my system allowed my virtual machines to utilize my graphics card. May not work if youre into playing the latest and greatest games.

same here 0 issues - I am also digging my free upgrade from Windows 7 and I don't see myself ever downgrading back to 7 from 10.

I feel like my startup time was noticeably faster on Windows 8.
Don't get me wrong, I'm booting up in like... 20 seconds. Maybe?
Just gloating in my first world problems.
(Having the start menu back is kinda nice, I will admit)
