I am looking for some suggestions on where a 47 chanter can solo, while being semi-afk. I have a gob gaz ring to break charm easily, and pretty much have a handle on charm kiting, as I've done it on my druid, but I can't think of any good places to solo afk.

Any suggestions? I'm not looking for UBER exp, but I am looking for something that can net me like, 1 - 2 % per kill.

i wouldnt call any enchanter charm soloing "AFK", but your best experience is going to probly be CoM.

find a time when moat is open, and claim that for yourself. you will shoot to 50-52 before you know it, then you can just go upstairs and continue. moat is easy and predictable, only annoyance is fending off poachers. duo with a cleric and you wont leave any mobs up to be poached.

Well I mean, I can solo then get my "pet" down to about 10-15% then stun nuke it down, but yeah, I get no real tells for groups, and CoM has been packed as of late, exempting the exp weekend, leaving moat camped. Plus, been here since level 40, kind of bleh with it.

really? doesnt seem that bad to me usually when its not exp weekend but maybe i just get lucky. unfortunately that 45-50 levels were a real struggle for me to find good charming mobs that werent heavily camped... and ive certainly gotten sick of CoM myself, but 46-50 was insanely fast for me at moat so i didnt mind it too bad. only took me 2 days of playing a few hours after work. took me forever to realize how good that camp was, id been kinda lost after i ifinished up grinding on spectres.

I'll see if it's free tonight and give it a shot, where did you sit? What mobs did you pull? What was your spell lineup?

Try EJ near the Trak ZL, or Kedge if you have an eb device

i just sat right in the usual position where groups sit, to the left of the door. i pulled everything that was in sight... things dont start going green until 50 and they are all pretty easy to charm.

standing from camp you can pull most of the mobs with tash and have time to cast charm before they get to you, saving you a tad bit of mana compared to most places. when i got closer to 50 i started doing pulls in sets of threes by charming the patrolling mob, then running him into the set of 2 that stand next to eachother, rooting both enemy mobs and let them beat the charmed mob to death very quickly, break charm and nuke pet, then charm one of the other ones. it is slightly less efficient sometimes, but allowed me to clear quicker. i was usually able to clear the 6 mobs in the center area + 5 more from one side. sometimes i got a few more from the other side but it was usually ~10-12 mobs per cycle

spell lineup was:

nuke
pbaoe
root
charm
mezz
tash
swap slot
gate

keep up rune + rampage/berserker spirit and you should be fine. i usually had mobs fight it out in the center of the bridge, but just be aware of the pathing mobs spawn times.

Bloodgills in LOIO are pretty easy. I think they give XP up to 51.
Low HP mobs that don't hit that hard. Also can kill the DW barracudas
for XP. Bloodgills sometimes drop harpoons that sell for 60pp or
so to vendors.

Use water elemental illusion or EB for breathing. Better if you
have fishbone earring so you don't die AFK.

This, I forgot that I did this quad on my druid! This is fantastic! I can take a corner and just do that! Awesome! Thank you!!!
