Mage Gearing List on Wiki.

Seems mages are one of the few classes where the equipment list is either inaccurate or in the case of velious, non-existant.

Any top raiding mages interested in filling in those gaps for gear ideas?

It is very helpful for gearing up, and you could also use it to start updating the gearsets on the wiki yourself.
But anyway, most of the gearsets do not make sense, why restrict yourself to classic/planar gear only when sometimes you have cheap upgrades available in Kunark/Velious. It would probably make more sense to make them based on the budget/playstyle.

IN general you want to max INT. STA after that. Focus on MR, FR and CR as much as possible and in certain situations you will need to sacrifice INT gear for MR/CR/FR.

That's about it. I do agree that the wiki is lacking on listing gear, but like Mustard said, it really depends.

It is a very easy quest and the end part needs a group max to complete. A good tracker and a half assed level 60 tank with a healer.

It really doesn't matter what a mage is wearing as long as they can summon mod rods and cast Call of the Hero. Just pick out +mana items or if you really want to get into the fights some resist gear.

These items can speed both of those activities up: FT items and Manna robe + Zlandicar's Heart.

Well, considering the Epic or even the Water pet can make the top 10 DPS is nice too. :) Unless you are spamming a boss with rogues
