keeps telling me my password is invalid i dunno how to log in

I dunno how to log in to the server it keeps telling me invalid password at the lofg in screen. please help

Have you been able to log in before?

Is this a fresh install?

Have you applied the latest patch v40, with the appropriate eqhost file? http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files40.zip

Are you using your forum account instead of world server/login account?

CAPS lock on?

I am having exactly the same issue. Fresh install and with the latest patch v40.
Upon login page, i clicked on the Account tab and it directed me to:
https://eqbl.station.sony.com/launchpad/index.jsp
Can't launch the website also.... Is anything else going wrong?

You can not use the Account Button within the EQ Client. That will attempt to call Sony's servers.

P99 Accounts are handled via the Control Panel http://www.project1999.com/account/?LS on this forum or via EQEMU for older accounts.
