Where do I go to report a player for griefing and repeated LNS violation (ban)

Aeudaen the 59 Mage from Red99

Never had to do this before but got killed 4 times tonight by Aeudaen once mid quad which he killed me then linked all the gems he stole from me on the pull. I called LNS and went to get my corpse and he had logged... He came back shortly after logging and This happened multiple times and the final offense was when I returned to OOT and got PK'd again mid fight called LNS to return to my corpse but had to swim all the way back... By the time I reached my corpse to retrieve it I got PKd while looting the corpse from the first death after calling LNS. I was then told that I was a liar and that he frapsed the whole thing to which I simply gave up and logged off and made this post. I've never been griefed like that in all my years of playing EQ in any form and I think that he should be banned for his behavior. I'll provide screenshots of logs and proof tomorrow

I mean lns does mean lns, as in loot and leave the zone for one hour. Also oot is a dumb spot to farm. Alot of wiz/dru bind there for these reasons. Try another spot or expect to get pvped on a pvp server in a popular farming spot.

Assuming it took 15-20 minutes for you to CR after kill #2, you either a) shouldn't have been in the zone or b) were open to pvp again after your LNS call at 04:37. Forget the fact that you were running your mouth the whole time.

TL;DR PVP Happened to OP, he got really rustled. More PVP happened and the frivolous petitionquest started. Also Mages in EQ have the highest skill ceiling of any class in any MMO.

Pvping on red99 is too risky and should be avoided at all costs.

These are the steps you need to perform when encountering another player:

1) See target

2) Is target in pvp range?

3) Is the target a known pal? Is the target naked (or do they just have shitty gear?)

4) Scroll up through the past 20 minutes of /ooc spam looking for a lns call in between the /wts CoS for 6k spam

5) Potentially, lns was called while you were zoning, so alt tab EQ and navigate your favorite internet browser to http://www.r99pvp.net/ooc.php. Double check the last 20 minutes of /ooc for a lns call

6) If no lns call has been made, go to your start menu and get fraps running. PVP losses can affect short term memory resulting in posts similar to the one above.

7) Start casting your first offensive spell.

They did the same with Good Guys and indirectly Fresh by using them for pvp and griefing them out of standard exp zones like sebilis. 2 guilds completely disbanded due to empire ;)

It actually is quite pathetic. Just started my first p99 toon 2 months ago and went with Red because I like pvp (on other games) and hate too many ppl in zones.

The pvp is so fucking lame sub lv50 so far. There are no good fights, its all complete noob ganks and de-leveled twinks with epics and max MR.

All these times getting lame ganked is just part of the game IMO until I get 60, where I hope the pvp will get more competitive. If not, fucking this place.

I think the worst is the community of total dick-mittens who provide no value to the server at all in terms of content and have gotten so bored all they can do is gank noobs over and over again in the name of leet pvp. Grow some balls and go play a new game if your that bored.

There have been some folks in the community who are really cool, gank you and have a chat about what to improve. Leave you be after a gank so you can be on your way. Good ppl seeking to help new players out with advice and help, contributing to the game overall. To those of you out there, /cheers

DB, dialogue like this isn't helpful. It isn't winning you any friends and will not dissuade your adversaries from objectionable actions. You need to understand your audience and choose to either participate or not. There are plenty of people on the server who share a similar set of ideals on fair play, etc. but it does very little good for anyone to bring that discussion here. If a player is legitimately violating the pnp, FRAPS it, report it and then once your case has been validated by staff gloat about it in RnF if you feel the need.

I understand you are standing up for OP and were not involved in the original situation, but you are only discrediting yourself along with him in the eyes if this community whether you agree with the established norms or not. When in Rome, do as the Romans. And if you are convinced your culture is superior to the Romans, then destroy them. Don't stand outside their gates lamenting oppression and injustice. skelital friend, my main is rockandtroll lvl 55 shaman, sittin in oot enjoying pvp. why dont u come take a look man? also have a 50 cleric and dragonbait is sitting on 52 naked. i dont get ur point of going after me on every post saying the same shit. im who i am and those are my characters.

I dont agree with op crying over a pvp death, im blamin about YOU ALL tellin him to go to blue when ive found like 3 people on this server who are really red and enjoy pvp and care about gettin better, so you are just a band of loosers trying to act cool against a guy who is nice with everyone he meets on game. Pvp is not griefing, pvp is not killing afk/naked people repeatedly, pvp is not what you all guys made of this server and im saying what my balls feel like saying ok?

DB, dialogue like this isn't helpful. It isn't winning you any friends and will not dissuade your adversaries from objectionable actions. You need to understand your audience and choose to either participate or not. There are plenty of people on the server who share a similar set of ideals on fair play, etc. but it does very little good for anyone to bring that discussion here. If a player is legitimately violating the pnp, FRAPS it, report it and then once your case has been validated by staff gloat about it in RnF if you feel the need.

I understand you are standing up for OP and were not involved in the original situation, but you are only discrediting yourself along with him in the eyes if this community whether you agree with the established norms or not. When in Rome, do as the Romans. And if you are convinced your culture is superior to the Romans, then destroy them. Don't stand outside their gates lamenting oppression and injustice. Have some pride ^^ do something about it :D

Pvping on red99 is too risky and should be avoided at all costs.

These are the steps you need to perform when encountering another player:

1) See target

2) Is target in pvp range?

3) Is the target a known pal? Is the target naked (or do they just have shitty gear?)

4) Scroll up through the past 20 minutes of /ooc spam looking for a lns call in between the /wts CoS for 6k spam

5) Potentially, lns was called while you were zoning, so alt tab EQ and navigate your favorite internet browser to http://www.r99pvp.net/ooc.php. Double check the last 20 minutes of /ooc for a lns call

6) If no lns call has been made, go to your start menu and get fraps running. PVP losses can affect short term memory resulting in posts similar to the one above.

7) Start casting your first offensive spell.

this is my last post on this thread, i want to stay cool but man, u just killed this guy several times and didnt respect his lns, you killed him again when he was looting his corpse. thats what happened, then people here were idiots with op wich is a nice person and u came here to brag about how awesome u are and ur legit pvp. please learn to pvp on that mage.
