"An Unknown Error" when trying to enter world from server select...

I've been trying to enter world for 20 mins now and have been getting this area. Just found out that a lot of other guildies have been having the same issue and can't enter world..any of you other guys having this problem?

This issue can happen for a number of reasons, usually it can be fixed by simply attempting to log in a few times. However, if you find that you still can't log in,
try changing your eqhost.txt file from:

[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

to

[LoginServer]
Host=leqemulator.net:5998

Getting this error this morning. Tried the eqhost file fix. Just gave me an error at login. Changed back and still getting the "unknown error."

Same issue here, and I think it must be quite prevalent because the online amount is lower than average, and dropping where it'd usually increase steadily (almost down to under 400 now on blue at 8:30AM EST on Friday).

Anyone have any luck getting in at all? Anyone know the IP so I can tracert?

I'm sadly thinking this is an EQ Emu issue. I can't join any server, let alone P99.

Edit: I lied. I could join the PEQ server.

Edit2: I lied again. I joined it *once*. Getting the same error again.

Confirmed doing this exact same method worked for me. Weird.

I can get in using the "Quick Connect" from the login screen.

If I login and then try to connect I get the error.

Got in by clicking the "use last server" type button.

The alternate of leqemulator.net:5998 is totally wrong. The hostname of leqemulator.net doesnt even exist, nor is it registered.
