Hi! I have the ring from the AC and wanted to do the MQ for my friend, I just had a question about how it works as I have never done any kind of MQ before. Forgive me for being a noob!
Is it just as simple as I turn in the ring and my friend turns in the rapier and gold and he gets the jboots?

As long as your friend turns in the last item, be it the ring, rapier or gold he/she will get the Jboots.

So when you are done, and he has his jboots. Hand him another round of Gold and Rapier, then leave.
Yay!

I really hope there isn't anyone on this server willing to spend 325pp just to fuck someone else.

I used to do it when someone would undercut me in EC. Only happened a few times.

Thanks! We did the quest tonight and it went smoothly!
And Endofline thankfully nobody did that! :D

That's pretty cruel, but as someone who hates the concept of MQing it did make me smile :)

When a quest mob despawns on a turn in does it wipe their memory cleanÉ

On retail if you were really nervous about a Quest NPC having odd 'leftover' quest turn in items from someone else, and you were paranoid your item turn in(s) would be screwed, it was common practice to trade the NPC a single flask of water to 'prime' the NPC so all objects given would be deleted and reset for them. Then you could trade your crap in with a sense of confidence.
I have no clue if that works here or not. It should because it's classic.

Multiquesting here makes use of global variables. Even if an NPC is killed, the quest variables remain intact until the zone comes down.

If you give them something else here it makes no difference, and I'm not entirely convinced that was anything more than superstition in the first place.
