Best class for pvp?

Shaman good. This isn't the best shaman era but they are still good. Anyone with a brain has disease and poison potions so dots kinda go away.

For murdering you might have more fun with a wizard. For bombing around at level 60 probably more fun as a shaman because of solo abilities.

But if you are planning on going all the way to the top gear wise, a melee character will probably be more fun.

Also, are you actually asking what is best, or the best of those two?

i should of said it better im open to any opinions as this is my first character on red what will be the best for me to play and enjoy in pvp for blue my fav is nec.

shaman's good but once u fight rich players (aka alot on this old server ) ur main form of dmg can be cleansed off for 25pp

In Velious it's wizard not even close.

Best Defence and offence. Can SS and Yonder for miles n miles.

also: pox+bane+torpor+focus on a shaman gunna set u back 30-50k easy and they are all ur best spells

Enchanter is a fun class that can do well in PVP and also very good solo PVE and insanely good duo PVE.

But it depends on your play style. If you are going to be in a guild and with guildies all the time, go wizzie and have fun. If you wanna log on at 2am because you feel like it and get stuff done, be a solo class like enchanter.

I think those are good bets.

Honestly all classes are pretty good when played well.

eq pvp is like pve against smarter AIs with high resists. any class can do well xd

any class is good if well played, ive read everything, from necros are bad to pallys are useless and none of that is true. truth with eq pvp is that its like pve, just against smarter AIs and higher resists and lower hp pools with small tweaks on some things to try and balance it out, like spell dmg etc.

on another note, i still dont understand why you all have this mentality about 1v1 pvp, thats sometimes, but eq pvp is about grp pvp tbh, and there things change dramatically, theres no best class for pvp, there are right grp setups and thats it, even a ranger can land a snare on a maloed + tashed char under pressure before he can cure or pell.

honestly, EQ is the MOST team oriented game out there class wise, yet we all still think on pvp about being 1v1. we are fucking stupid.
