Anybody have a link to the data on per level Melee Damage Caps?
I know my baby SK (level 5) will not hit for over 20, but, would like to know when that cap changes and what it changes to.
Thanks in advance.

Once you hit level 10 it goes up to 28 damage, then at 20 it goes up to 60 I think.
At 29 or 30 the cap is removed.

Certainly helps at lower levels, just watch your swings do less % damage per mob as you get past 30-35 OP... its quite sad in a way.

levels 1-9 - damage cap is 20
levels 10-19 - damage cap is 28
Levels 20-29 - damage cap is 60
30+ - lifted, can do 2x weapon damage or more based on class

high str will allow you to break damage cap in teens for sure

So, my SK has 201 str self buffed @ 18 occasionally hits for 38 with a 30 dmg 2h weapon. Wonder what he hits for @ 250 str. 28 not cap imo.
The cap is to the effective base damage stat for the weapon. Below level 10 any weapon with a base damage higher than 10 does damage as if its base damage were 10, from 10-19 any weapon with a base damage higher than 14 is treated as if it was 14. It isn't that there is a cap of 28 for levels 10 -19, it's just that without a high STR/ATK you won't do more than 2x base damage and 2x14 = 28.
tl;dr
A fancy-pants high elf has to live with 28 max damage at levels 10 to 19, but a beefy ogre can go ahead and smash his way thru that limit.
