"Finally" abbud thought as he ripped open his 3rd package of swiss miss of the night. The chocolate powder fell drying into his mouth with some of it landing on his unwashed wife-beater. "Yes! Finally after weeks of thought and planning I have a finalized vision of what to make for a video. The thoughts of his video had consumed the better part of his mental faculties for the last several weeks. He would often thought of it during his shifts at work. While he sat in meetings and put on a face of piqued interest his mind was really probing the multiple possibilities of his work at home, his masterpiece... his legacy. Even while at home he could think of nothing else. He sat through his dinners pretending to listen to his wife and kids talk about their day. He often felt annoyed at their constant yammering and how it interrupted his creative though processes. "If they would only SHUT UP!" he thought to himself when he was pulled away from his train of thought and brought back into reality.

abbud was becoming more and more obsessed with completing his video. He had found the perfect audio but not the visuals. He knew that he video and the message it contained would be meaningless without the right screenshots. abbud slowly sank into a depression and was no longer able to sleep. He moved through life like a zombie physically but his brain ran faster than ever before. If he could just find the right screens shots his life could go back to normal. He was starting to fear his job might be in jeopardy because of his inability to finish his tasks by deadline. While the idea of losing his job did frighten him he was also tempted by the thought that without a job he would have more time to finish his true calling.... the video.

As days and nights passed before his unsleeping eyes the compulsion slowly turned into madness. He had compiled over 30,000 screen shots to use for his video. He would check and recheck how the various screenshots would look while the audio played. He needed it to be perfect. He needed THEM to see. The night before abbud finished his video he sat at the dinner table as usual and as usual he minds was else where while his family tried their hardest to pull his attention back to them. He was on the verge, he could feel it. He just needed one last screen shot. The image flashed in his head but only briefly before his senses returned to the dining room. His wife and daughter were attempting to talk to him about their yearly vacation in the Adirondack mountains. What would have in the past excited him instead caused him to fly into a blind rage. "SHUT UP!" he yelled. "JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP, I CAN'T THINK WITH ALL THIS NOISE!!!" he screamed at the top of his lungs while he stood up from the table. With a demonic speed he made his way into the living room and there above the fire place was the object of his current desire, the one thing to make the noise go away forever... his mace.

abbud gripped his weapon tightly as the world around him blurred. He returned to the dining hall. The screams of his wife and daughter sounded as if they came from the other side of a wall of ice. The video, he could only think of the video as he brought his instrument of silence down onto the faces of his wife and daughter over and over again. Finally they stopped making noise, finally he could think again. Without even noticing the gore he stepped over the bodies of his family and calmly strode to his computer. A trance like state of being had come over him. Within moments he had finished it. He immediately set about to uploading it to youtube. A euphoria washed over him as he selected the video to upload it. "No one will ever be able to question what I have done once they see this, no other achievement in the history of man will meet its perfection!" he shouted as his finger slammed down on his mouse to click the submit button.
