any addicted potionists out there?

Wanna help with some retro research?

Currently trying to fill in the missing potions, as the wiki has a few missing; it mostly just covers the common ones, which were added in revampB (as its dubbed).

However the older potions were still able to be made, and therefore are available on p99.

These had a dropped item(mob drop) and a vendor bought herb. The famous ones being the giant toes+balm leaf etc.

Looking for some 150+ skill alchemists, to help withthe final research on this, a handful of potions remain unsolved. Well there could be more, but I dont think there were more than 20 dropped item potions in game in 1999.

If interested in helping out then pm me, with details and I can point towards the missing potions.

Personally i wont be updating the wiki, but if others wished to, well thats their choice.

Good luck with the shaman arcana. The stinging wort potions were a game changer. Super excited to see if there's any other interesting effects we don't have at the moment.

found 3 that are interesting, and 2 more recipes that are untested atmo.

tested this today...

am not sure of the haste % but duration of 1.8mins was underwhelming!

cant really see a use for it, maybe for twink alts of a hybrid nature...but overall a poor return for the effort; costs 3p per dose to make, good thing is the eyes stack, so inc fails thats about 70p for a 10 dose. Its the time factor of gettign the eye component....

Looks like a pretty high rate of Haste after looking through that Sanctuary link you posted earlier.... just not sure that 1.8mins is worth it. Maybe trying to solo a mob you normally couldn't for a camp? Thinking that haste plus the DS pot might let you do some cool stuff on a monk

short duration haste.

theres no real way to farm the eyes....could take 90mins+ to get 10. The cost of the potion is minimal, but i guess its only useful if you are in ratheM for hours killing hill giants. Is there a cyclops area in ocean of tears??

Just cant think of a reliable spot, where they pop. perhaps here?

Froon and Choon in WK.
Cyclops Island in OOT where one is PH for Ancient Cyclops.
Diff island than seafuries.

I assume sea fury cyclops drop the eyes. And I'm sure they always rot.

the clarity potion is post luclin or latter, but my gut feeling is its a herb which is combinable on p99

do you have some inside info on this? do you skim the pool of brad mcquid?

I suspect you may be right, but seems more likely the recipe is not known. I did wonder if it was a poison ingredient....like asmag weed is.? (drops in sol a)

I just remember having collected a ton of it thinking I might be able to use it for alchemy. Then after I got off work (pool boy for a famous mmo designer) I looked it up and didn't find anything. That's after I was making pots that weren't on p99 wiki. So take my word with a grain of phosphorus powder.
