Losing Scandrick is for sure a huge loss - he is arguably our best corner...but corner is one of our strongest positions. Claiborne and Carr will be just fine as starters and we have decent backups. The thing that makes me OK with this is we have 4 bad ass pass rushers now - Greg Hardy, Randy Gregory, Lawrence, Mincey???? Thats going to be one of the most fearsome pass rush squads in the entire NFL. Plus we are getting Sean Lee back this year at Linebacker.

Edit: Back when tebow was with the broncos he came into the team that was 1-4 and took them on 6 game win streak and took us to the playoffs rookie year. The guy is a beast and i wish more people saw his talent.

Exactly. We are talking 8 weeks. Cowboys invested in Cassel by giving up draft picks. Tebow would be someone you could throw in there randomly with Weeden to wear down defenses, and it would be zero investment.

I'm not even a Tebow fan, but he played 1000x better than Dustin Vaughn and didn't have Escobar(who would start for any other team in the NFL) to help out his stats. I get that teams aren't on the bandwagon for developing him as a QB, despite that he is better than probably 20% or more of actual starting NFL QBs, but throwing a 6'3" 240lb run threat QB in with Randle and McFadden some downs to punish defenses seems like a solid plan. And the Cowboys would be out absolutely nothing.

**edit** Also note how weak the Cowboys schedule is. There is a good chance that quite a few of those games can be won with 1 TD and good clock management.

Weeden putting up 28 is promising, but the defense giving up 40 is not. Greg Hardy will be here soon, maybe that will energize Dem Boys.

The positive thing in all of this is it will make the 2015/2016 Dallas Cowboys: Road to the Super Bowl DVD SOOOOO much more interesting. We will have story lines, ups, downs, controversy, redemption, and the culmination of ultimate football glory. Its going to be a must have for any football fan. Should be released probably August 2016, keep an eye out on Amazon.

That was the only point in my life that I ever rooted for another team other then my hometeam Saints.

John Elway, Sharpe, Davis... Holy cow man. I'm missing a few big names in my faves at that time, but that's what got me into football big time... Especially considering that I had just started Bantam on a team called the Broncos during the year before.

Glory days man... but nothing beats having my Saints win the superbowl at the time they did. They had people in rural areas hearing people from miles away screaming in happiness for a taste they never had before. It wasn't just the defense allowing 40. The problem was that the Falcons let the wind out of Weeden's sails with the interception. He just stopped doing anything useful on offense. He was unable to keep the defense off of the field with all of this three-and-outs. Hint: throwing it underneath on every pass might work if you run three pass plays in a row, but if you do it every time on 3rd and 25, you're going to have a bad time.
