As the titles suggests, which I will repeat, I have transferred my P99 folder to a new computer, but now I keep getting the "can't find eqgame patchme" error. I am not searching for Launch Titanium.bat...I have tried creating a short cut and using that and I have located the "Launch Titanium.bat" in multiple ways, but it is not working. Any help or thoughts is appreciated. Any suggestions/thoughts about copy+pasting P99 folder to a new computer?

it sounds like the path on the new computer does not match what the path was on the old computer? if that is not the case and they're both located in the same path on both computers have you browsed to your eq directory to verify the existence of eqgame.exe?

Yeah I tripled check, eqgame.exe is there. I actually tried to run P99 on the other computer over network sharing and it gave the same issue...could it be a problem with windows 10? I transferred the files from 8 to 10.

Seems like the eqgame.exe folder was being deleted by my anti-virus??? I turned it off, hasn't been deleted now this is the new error...
"eqgame.exe - System Error
The program can't start because DSETUP.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling this program to fix this problem."
White list the dll in your Antivirus and reapply latest patch.
Or ditch the Antivirus altogether imo

Hehe yeah, I ended up just doing a fresh install and caught the anti virus deleting stuff again...made a few exceptions and restored the files and bob's your uncle I'm playing EQ on windows 10 just fine. (does it matter if SLI is on with 2x 980tis lol???)

you can't just move the folder over, you need to actually install the file. The game doesn't work otherwise (i have tried this on my laptop as well).

If you install Titanium to its own directory instead of the default program files it is completely portable and able to be copied. I keep extra copies on flash drives for drag and drop installs or just to access the game from other computers.
Example install to "C:\Everquest" instead of "C:\Program Files\SOE\Everquest"
Of course you need to modify/verify the EQ launch shortcut each time you move the directory to a new system/drive so that the target line is pointing to the correct location.

This was very helpful thank you, could you possible post a correct modification to the directory so I can assure my target line is correct (step by step) my platform is windows 10

I am using Avast security anyway you could explain how to white list the dll file in this program? responses would be helpful, I disabled it completely and that did not seem to work even with a fresh install
